The composition of A312 TP309 pipe includes 20% chromium, 12% nickel and 2% manganese. This composition provides the pipe with excellent corrosion resistance and helps it maintain strength and durability in high-temperature applications.
A312 TP309 stainless steel pipe can be used in sulfur-containing environments with temperatures up to 980 degree . The use of this steel in highly carburized atmospheres is not recommended as A312 TP309 Steel Pipe exhibits only moderate resistance to carbon uptake.
A312 TP309 stainless steel tubes are widely used in heat exchanger tubes, condenser tubes, cooling and heating coils in refineries, chemical and petrochemical industries due to their high durability and corrosion resistance.
